Celebration of Saint Nicholas Day in Europe
Saint Nicholas Day is celebrated in many countries throughout Europe. But the actual day and the celebration can change depending on the country. In the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Croatia or Romania (among others) children receive sweets or little presents in the morning of the 6th December (on December 5th in the Netherlands).
